STE(A)M CLUB
The Science of Bubbles
Last week on the first session of STE(A)M club we had a great time experimenting with bubbles and looking at the science behind it.
We were happy to see a great amount of students interested in the club, with 16 students from S1 and S2 attending to this first session.
The task was to make shapes with bubbles using 3D structures designed by the students. At first we tried with toothpicks and bluetack, however that had little success; so we decided to try with pipe cleaners, which was much successful to create incredible squared and triangular shaped bubbles.
Today, on the second session of STE(A)M club we are making rafts!
Note: We are still in the midst of incorperating Art into STEM club (Which would make it STEAM) If this proves successful then you can expect even more activites in the future!!!
